According to a recent Gallup poll, measuring how Americans rate the honesty and ethics of different professions, nurses are perceived as the most ethical and honest with people while members of Congress had the lowest rating of any profession – below such esteemed professions as lobbyist, car salesman, and telemarketer.
As a soon-to-be nurse graduate writing about politics I can’t help but find these results amusing.
