CISPA: Yet Another Attempt to Restrict the Most Open Social Platform Ever Created

Our ability to use the internet freely has been bombarded with attacks time and time again by such attempted legislation as SOPA, PIPA, ACTA and Kill Switch. Now, yet another attempt at removing the internet from the jurisdiction of the constitution in the form of CISPA is in the works and is receiving significant bipartisan support:

The internet is possibly the greatest gift technology has to offer democracy. Yet, instead of promoting the most open and free social platform ever created our politicians seem mesmerized by the prospect of controlling it – even if that means blatantly violating our very constitution to do it.
